David started Stenseth Samuelson & Boese in 1996 and is our firm's President. His primary area of interest is in working with small businesses. The services he provides include helping his clients to establish and maintain accounting and information systems, compiling and reviewing financial statements, business income tax planning and preparation, as well as a wide range of business consulting services. David has particular expertise working with manufacturers and is knowledgeable about export incentives. He also provides individual income tax planning and preparation.

David has a passion for providing high quality professional services and believes that those working here must share a commitment to high values, ethics and the application of technology to improve the services that our firm offers.

David is active in the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants, currently serving on its Tax Conference Planning Task Force, and is a past chair of the Task Force. He has also participated as a panel member in discussions on the application of new technology in accounting firms. David is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and licensed to practice as a CPA in Minnesota and North Dakota. David lives in the East Metro together with his wife Sheila and daughter Amy.
